Self Referral

No referral is necessary to consult our staff. We provide services  which are suitable for all age groups and abilities. 

Consultation prices are affordable and in line with Medicare Australia’s rebate for eligible services. Rebates are also available from many private health funds and can be claimed at the time of your consultation using the HICAPS system (www.hicaps.com.au). Check with your health fund to see whether you have coverage for allied health services.

Do you, like many Australians, suffer the debilitating effects of chronic disease? 

Our aim is to empower you to self-manage your condition immediately, in the long term and in situations of relapse or recurrence

Those with certain complex and chronic conditions who are managed by their GP under the Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) initiative, consisting of a GP Management Plan (GPMP) & Team Care Arrangement (TCA), can be referred to our practitioners for up to 5 free consultations in a calendar year.

For example, you may be referred for 5 sessions with a Podiatrist or it may be a mix of services; e.g., 2 sessions with the Exercise Physiologist, 2 sessions with the Dietitian and 1 session with the Podiatrist.

At Allied Health Central, we accept the Medicare Australia rebate as full payment for these 5 services referred under the EPC initiative, meaning that there is no charge to you, the patient.

If you are referred by your GP under the EPC initiative, please bring your GP referral form and Team Care Arrangement paperwork with you to your first appointment.
